Came here thinking "There is no way it can live up to the reviews" and let me tell you, the reviews almost done do this place justice. Everything was so good. The brisket tacos are crazy because why does a bbq place have better quality tortillas than every mexican spot in the area. Not just the area, better tortillas than basically anything within 2 hours of the area. The brisket is delicious, perfectly done, perfectly seasoned. We also had the Mac and cheese which tasted home made in the best way possible. Aside from the food being some of the best bbq we've had, the atmosphere was great. Very community based, loved the pay it forward meal jar. I will definitely be coming back and trying more of the food.

High quality BBQ. I have traveled the east coast trying many different BBQ places even in the South where supposedly "the best" BBQ is..... This place is one of the best out there. I love brisket and these guys know what they are doing with the brisket. I try not to eat seed oils and to my surprise their buns are made with their own beef tallow!!! So I ordered a burger too. Thank God I ordered the burger. Juicy, flavorful and has a slight char to it. You cant beat their burger. And as the young people say... the mac & cheese is "bussin". On top of it the service is great. Some of the friendliest people out there. I wish I could give more stars. Cant wait to be back in the area. Cheers to this staff and owner.

What a gem! Attempted to go after the storms 2 weeks ago but they were without power. We vowed to return, and are so glad we did. The burnt ends and 1/2 rack of dry rubbed ribs were delicious, and the smoked mac n cheese went so well. Be advised tho.. they give ample portions! Will definitely be back.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The food is incredible, and the owner is truly an outstanding person. He genuinely cares not only about the restaurant, but also about the community. He is constantly giving back, and he and his staff treat customers like family. The portion sizes are generous, and they definitely do not skimp on the meat or the sauce. We ordered the short rib tacos, meatball sub, and hot ham and cheese, which were all weekly specials, along with the brisket tacos and street corn from the regular menu. The meat was incredibly tender and excellent quality.. and the street corn is so yummy! They also have several homemade sauces to choose from which are all delicious but you don’t even need them because everything already comes with the perfect amount of sauce. It’s hard to find a place that delivers amazing food, generous portions, and such outstanding people behind it. This is exactly the kind of locally owned spot I’m always hoping to find. Restaurants like this are far and few between, and this one absolutely deserves all the support it gets and more.

Yesterday was our first time eating here. We did come one other time but they were sold out of almost everything so we left. I orderd the brisket tacos and my boyfriend ordered the double deuce with chicken, brisket, mac & cheeae and chips and cheese. We also ordered the peanut butter pie for dessert. All of the food we ordered was amazing. Everything had great flavor and was well prepared and plated. The pickles were great too! We played cornhole while waiting for our food. Great addition!
